* Market Introduction:
Chengdu, which is the economic and culture center of West-China, its shoe industry has been developing so fast by China entering into WTO and the policy of Developing Western China. It is one of the four largest shoe-making basements of China, also the largest shoes & leather making basement and science research basement (Leather Institute of Sichuan China is the largest shoe-making country in the world, also the second largest footwear consuming market. It is accounting for 53% of the worldwide shoe production, and 22% of the worldwide shoe consumption.
Chengdu has rich foundation of shoe industry: over 3000 shoe-making and subsidiary enterprises, leather-making companies over 200, especially women's footwear and pig leather clothes enjoy high reputation in China and even in the world.
* About Fair:
'Chengdu Shoe Machinery and Raw Materials Exhibition and West-China Shoes&Leather Trade Fair' has been held successfully for four times. With the Donnor Exhibition's authority, abundant data and professional marketing running, it has been highly approved by visitors from home and abroad. Visitors and booths have been growing rapidly, the structure of exhibitors also have great changes: attracting total over 800 exhibitors from Italy, France, Russia, America, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Vietnam, Hongkong, Taiwan and so on.
Totally 50,000 visitors came for the fair. The total business amount reached 450 million yuan including 215 million yuan of signed contract. It has become the highest level professional exhibition in western China, which offers the best way for exhibitors to enter into the western shoes market.
